February 13, 2025 – EU-US Forum Tip Sheet

Welcome to the EU-US Forum Weekly Tip Sheet, your go-to product for information about the EU-US Forum and its work, timely updates on the dangerous far-left ideas coming out of the European Union, and detailed analysis on the key players influencing European politics.

We send this out weekly to keep you apprised of the most important political and policy topics in Europe as we continue to work toward our mission of exposing the EU’s radical agenda and the threat it poses to the US and Western Civilization.

This week, we’re catching up on the German elections as voters inch closer to making their voices heard on February 23rd. Many see this election as a referendum on the issue of illegal migration in Europe. Recent polling from the EU-US Forum found that migration remains the top focus for Germans as the effects of illegal immigration run rampant across Germany and the rest of the European Union.

1.ORBÁN BACKS AfD

Hungary Prime Minister Viktor Orbán recently came out in support of the conservative movement in Germany, proclaiming AfD is “the future.

The PM made his remarks at a press conference on Wednesday alongside Alice Weidel, co-leader and lead candidate of the German AfD party.

AfD remains steadily climbing in polling, due to its support for ending illegal immigration.

The European Conservative also said:

Orbán voiced his hope that the arrival of U.S. President Donald Trump in the White House will bring about a different mindset in the West—based on Trump opposing migration.

President Trump listened to voters and is enacting a robust policy agenda that will put a stop to illegal immigration… will Germany’s leaders do the same?

2. ANTI-AfD MOBS FUNDED BY TAXPAYERS

SHOCKING new reporting out of Germany shows the hundreds of thousands of protestors who took over the streets of Munich and Berlin to demonstrate against the so-called “far-right” are being funded by taxpayer dollars!

The activist group, “Together against the Right,” was the main organizer of the 160,000-person demonstration to protest anti-illegal immigration measures in Berlin last week. Bild, a German newspaper, identified the group as being affiliated with “NGO HateAid,” which received nearly 2.5 million euros from the German government in 2020.

3. MIGRANT TERRORISM IN GERMANY

The country is still in shock after an Afghan migrant drove a car into a crowd of people in Munich this morning, injuring close to 30 people. The attack comes just months after a Saudi migrant drove through a Christmas market in Berlin killing 5 people and injuring more than 200.

Security around Munich will ramp up in the coming days, as Germany prepares for the three-day Munich Security Conference on Friday, which Vice President JD Vance and other world leaders will be attending.

At least two are in serious condition, and a child is in critical condition. How many more tragedies like this need to happen until leaders take notice?

POLISH MEP FACES PRISON TIME FOR LIKING A POST ON X

Polish Member of European Parliament Patryk Jaki is being accused of committing a “hate crime” and is now on trial for simply liking a post on X.

Prosecutors are calling for a three-year prison sentence for this “hate crime,” while fellow members of the European Parliament attempt to strip him of his immunity, calling his actions on X “inciting hatred against Muslim immigrants.

MEP Jaki described the insanity of the trial in a video posted to X: “In 2018, I liked a video on X Platform that showed the real scenes of violence of illegal migrants in Europe. The left in Europe called this liking “hate speech” and today voted to strip me of my immunity.

This is a perfect example of the anti-free speech that leaders in Europe subscribe to. We stand with the victims of the EU’s censorship agenda!
