Miller Joined the EU-US Forum for Panel Discussion in Budapest, Hungary
BUDAPEST, HUNGARY — The EU-US Forum, an American nonprofit organization that aims to advance President Trump’s conservative agenda in Europe and stop the EU’s radical leftism from coming to the US, hosted an event in Budapest, Hungary today with Jason Miller, former Senior Advisor to President Donald Trump, and board members Joe Grogan and Matt Mowers.
The event was a panel discussion that focused on EU-US relations and covered topics such as the EU’s extreme censorship policies like the Digital Markets Act (DMA), overregulation in Europe’s energy sector via the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), unchecked illegal migration, and President Trump’s approach to the EU on trade and defense spending.

JASON MILLER: “President Trump is going to be the torchbearer for sovereignty and for freedoms. ”
JASON MILLER: “‘Joe Biden allowed “two Hungary’s worth” of illegal immigrants coming into the US in a four-year-period… if you don’t think that the Prime Minister’s opponents won’t do the same thing, you have another thing coming.”
JASON MILLER: “We take for granted our First Amendment right… other countries have no embedded right to freedom of speech. Free speech is something that President Trump will be addressing in the EU and the UK.”
MATT MOWERS: “You had an attack on free speech, government bureaucrats going after tech innovators, farming policies running out family farmers… and people were fed up.”
JASON MILLER: “The last line of defense for the extreme radical left is the legal system… people should be able to embrace the sovereignty and individuality and the rights that they hold as citizens.”

BACKGROUND:
- The EU-US Forum is led by multiple former Trump administration officials: Matt Mowers, former State Department official, Joseph Grogan, former Director of the White House Domestic Policy Council, and Johnny DeStefano, former Counselor to the President.
- In its inaugural year, the EU-US Forum has held events in Rome, Italy with Vivek Ramaswamy, in Vienna, Austria with Richard Grenell, and in Washington, D.C with several policy experts. These events brought awareness to the EU’s radical left-wing ideas that need to be stopped from spreading to the United States.
- In early 2024, EU-US Forum ran a six-figure paid media effort taking aim at the far-left policy agenda of the EU. This included campaigns in:
- Rome, Italy with ads that said “EU Policies Are Putting Western Civilization at Risk.”
- Budapest, Hungary during CPAC with ads that read “Demand Change in the European Union.”
- Maastricht, Netherlands during the Maastricht Debate with the message: “Demand Borders. Demand Free Speech. Demand Change at the EU.”
- The group released polling in May 2024 that revealed shocking discoveries that predicted the rightward shift in Europe that played out in its 2024 parliamentary elections.
